On Thurs., Jan. 13, UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar (#1 Lightweight) will join UFC executives Dana White, Lorenzo Fertitta and and Scott O’Neil, the president of Madison Square Garden Sports, for a press conference at MSG’s Club Bar & Grill. The press conference – which will stream live on FIGHT! at 2 p.m. EST – is being held to announce a plan to bring the UFC to MSG as soon as the New York legislature approves the regulation of MMA.
The press conference will take place Thursday, Jan. 13 at 2 p.m. ET in the Club Bar & Grill at Madison Square Garden in New York City, and will also run live on UFC.COM. The UFC will also release a new economic impact study during the press conference which details the economic benefits of regulating MMA in New York State.
